Bone Handled Saw
Here is a small bone-handled saw (antler actually). It is based off of an existing find, which is apparently a very utilitarian piece made by the person who used it, owing to the haphazard decoration and the fact that it was probably a re-used piece to begin with.For the blade I used a long Saws-All bade (18tpi) and cut a hole in the tip for mounting, using a Dremel and a small grinding bit. The hole is offset by about 3/16ths to allow it to be drawn tightly together when pinned.
