Anglo-Saxon Buckle - 7th Century
Anglo-Saxon buckle, 7th Century. Cast copper-alloy with beaded silver filigree. This was an entry for Kingdom Arts & Science Tri-Levels (Calontir) 2007.

The buckle hinges at the tongue plate. Tabs projecting from the buckle plate and the tongue wrap around the buckle to create the hinge.
